Christmas in January

Tyler's preschool had their Christmas concert this last Friday since it was canceled (snowed in) before Christmas break. It was fun to hear all the kids singing their songs. Tyler's class had each child share their favorite thing about Christmas. Just like the Thanksgiving program Tyler went against the grain and said his own thing (that's my boy). While a majority of the kids said presents or opening presents, Tyler's favorite thing at Christmas is "making cookies". Here are a few pictures. Tyler has been big into boots lately (snow and rain) so I guess it's appropriate that he "needed" to wear his rain boots to the concert. Never mind, all the girls in the fancy Christmas dresses :). Tyler even commented, "Mom, did you know Laura wore a tank top!!!! Can you believe it. But she said it wasn't really a tank top". Me, "Was it a dress that looked like a tank top on top?" Tyler, "Yeah, that's so funny".

Start of the new year

It's a good thing one of my New Years resolutions isn't to blog multiple times a week.....I would have broken it already. I'm deep into a bunch of things I need to get done and can't seem to find any time to do. So bear with me for the next couple of weeks. I'll blog when I can and maybe Dave will make a guest appearance :). In the meantime, here are a few blogs all at once as a little catch up from this last week.

Hailey's show

Hailey got a musical Elmo book from Aunt Sue and Uncle Neil (thank you very much!!!). There is a lullaby song that she has choreographed a whole number to.....

It's Christmas again!

Saturday we celebrated Christmas with the Bunge side of the family. Lots of presents and lots of food and always a good time for Tyler when his cousins are over. And Spiderman even joined in on the festivities.
