The Easter Bunny arrived at our house sometime during the night and the kids were extra early in anticipation of what awaited them at the bottom of the stairs.
But before the kids headed down stairs the found several eggs the Easter Bunny had left in their rooms. Hailey loved finding eggs this year.
Tyler was very happy to see a basket waiting for him.

| Hailey received a necklace and bracelet which in true coincidence matched her dress perfectly |
Tyler couldn't wait for the egg hunt and hardly looked at his basket before he was off. It didn't take him long to find all 32 of his eggs.

Baskets filled with discovered eggs
On Friday before Easter Hailey and I took a trip to Costco for our Easter food supplies. She say this dress and said she wanted it. Since she normally refuses to wear a dress I just I had to buy it for her. It's her favorite color: turquoise. She looked very cute...even though it only lasted through church and didn't make it to our family celebration.
After church we headed out to Gerry's for good food and more egg hunting. Withing about 20 minutes of arriving Hailey complained of a stomach ache and said she wanted to go home. About 3 minutes later she was fast asleep and slept right through brunch and the hiding of the eggs.
The rest of the kids were sequestered to the bedroom while eggs were hidden.
Here is everyone getting ready for the BIG hunt which included 196 eggs this year. I think only 5 were no found.

Hailey was quite the funny egg finder. She was so excited about it and loved it but half the time she almost had to step on it before she saw it :)

| And at the end...the big egg cash out. Jessie found the $10 egg this year. |
Then it was time for some tree climbing.
And scooter riding down the lawn hill
And finally there was a birthday cake for Jessie and Hailey.
The kids had so much fun playing with there cousins. It's such a sigh of relief when they can spend hours playing with cousins and don't need us. A definite first this year. If only Easter were every weekend :).
