Ty's 4th of July Fireworks

4th of July has become for Tyler a tradition of pop-its and staying up late to watch the neighbor's firework's show in our cul de sac. After what had already been a great day at Jon and Mary Pat's in Snoqualmie, Ty was already tuckered and barely conscious as we got home and I thought he might skip the festivities and go straight to bed. During a bath in which he nodded off a couple times sitting up he managed to rejuvenate himself in order to have some late night fun. Bedtime wound up being 1030pm! As I write this (805am) he is still sleeping. I am occasionally known as 'Sleepy Daddy' when work keeps me up late. He will definitely earn 'Sleepy Tyler' honors today. It begins with the dispensing of the pop-its....
And then some more dispensing...
then comes the throwing of the pop-its....

followed by the stomping of the pop-its....
Uh-oh, those weren't pop-its!

Run Tyler, the smoke bomb is coming....
Tyler's first sparkler!
and his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th!

Notice the ever important sparkler stance.

Hi Tyler,
Did you have fun with sparklers on the 4th of July? Your pictures sure look like you were having lots of fun. Did your sister watch your sparklers too? What are you going to do today? Grandpa is going to hit some golf balls and eat lunch. Have fun! Grandpa loves you!
