We did a little something different on the 4th of July this year. We left the country :). We made a quick trip Canada to visit the Vancouver aquarium and the Capilano bridge. Then we made it back in time for fireworks (thankfully they start really late). Hailey and Dave watched fireworks in Kirkland. Ty and I ended up staying home because Tyler had a stomach ache. Hopefully next year he'll be able to enjoy the fireworks.
Hailey couldn't wait to see the dolphins and beluga whale at the aquarium. We have to get her down to Sea World one of these years.
The Capilano bridge was so much fun! Both kids just loved it. I think the Suspension bridge stressed Dave out a little but once we made it to the other side the treetop bridges were so fun.

The cliff walk was a narrow bridge/path that went out right along the side of the cliff. It was beautiful scenery (from very high up :))
And sometimes very far out
We saw a lot of really tall trees.
The big suspension bridge is probably the most famous part of this place. I thought it was very cool to be up so high looking down.
On the other side of the bridge are trails and tree top bridges to explore.
Very fun to walk from tree to tree and we were a long way up!
It was a fun quick getaway!
