Tyler has always been very particular about what he will wear. This year the only pants he will wear is black sweatpants (they meshy soft kind) and dark, dark, dark jeans. But he doesn't like just any jean, if the legs are too baggy, it bugs him. He's got pretty skinny legs so finding jeans that aren't too baggy is a challenge. Sometime after Christmas we found a pair of straight slim jeans in a size 7 slim that he really liked. I was hoping to make if through the winter season on those jeans and the rest of the pants he already has but giant holes consumed all but two pairs of pants and it's still freezing cold. So a couple of weeks ago he and I went shopping. Fun times. We ended up coming home with these:
That's right, the exact same jeans and sweats that he already has, but now he has two pairs of each. At to that the one pair of black Adidas sweatpants he'll wear and we are up to the only 5 pairs of pants he will wear. And since the jeans and 2 of the three sweats are identical, it actually just looks like he wears the same thing every day. And I'm left wondering, how old will he be before he'll wear something in a regular blue color. Hopefully skinny jeans don't go out of fashion anytime soon because it is all he will wear and they actually look like regular jeans on him.
