The Lights of Christmas

We visited the Lights of Christmas again this year. Dave took last Thursday off work so we could go on a not so busy night. It proved to be a good decision. We didn't have to deal with lines or masses of people. We were able to step right up for pictures with Frosty and Santa and even Bruce the Spruce (the talking tree).

The kids were ready to go before we had the car packed. So they waited.....
We found the large wood Frosty again this year.
Hailey was very excited to also find a "live" Frosty.
Our first Santa pictures of the year....many legos were requested (by both of them...Hailey just following the lead I think).
Then it was off to see the lights
We also found a Polar Express train village.
And more lights

The trip wouldn't be complete without the super sugary cinnamon donuts...delicious.
We also spent a few minutes fighting the cold by the fire.
Both kids were excited to see Bruce the talking tree. He did not disappoint. They have a very good camera and speaker because the "tree" could obviously see them and hear them answer his questions. Hailey got a few new jokes from him too.

There were no lines at the pony rides this year either (yahoo).
We all had a fun night.
