Valerie took the kids to the library a few days ago, part of a run of errands she tells me took exactly 19 hours, and found a gold mine of a book for Tyler. It's called 1-2-3 Draw Knights, Castles, and Dragons. Coming on the heels of seeing How to Train Your Dragon and all of the Lego Kingdom's kits he has this is proving to be a big winner.
Last night I came home to a drawing of a Brave Knight. Val had done the outline and Tyler filled it in using the tips from the book. Tonight I came home to a castle for me, a castle Tyler had drawn for Hailey and the last photo is the kind picture that he wanted to give to Mrs. Guzman his Kindergarten Teacher for a Xmas present. It was a lovely thought but Val pointed out that Mrs. Guzman might interpret the gift as a desire to hurt her with medieval weaponry.
