Hey, That's My Sister!

So, when we are at home Tyler does what all big brother's do....he bosses around his little sister. Most of the time he jsut wants her to play with or near him but others it evolves into picking her up (her scream is intended to inform him she does not enjoy this) and setting her down where he wants her. Well, today we went to 'Snow Days', an event held at the church we have been going to and which is also where Ty goes to pre-school (Gold Creek Community Church and kids at the Creek Preschool). We had a great time even though the snow brought in from the mountains was too muddy for Tyler to chance. We got to make a beaded cnady cane and a wreath with his teachers Mrs. Pawley and Mrs. Acey and also an edible ginger bread house that I promised he gets to eat one wall per day till it's gone. One great thing is that the church/school seems to have cornered the market on having inflatable bounce houses or slides at their events for kids to enjoy. The slide was way too big for Hailey but there appeared to be a bounce house that might work even though some of the kids going in seemed a little on the gigantic side (compared to Hailey). I managed to talk Ty into escorting Hailey in though he grumbled about it the whole way. Once inside however, the little man made me proud. Hailey was having a blast, she fancies herself quite the big jumper. But she'l never realize that the whole time Ty stood guard next to her holding out his palm to any kid who dared come near his sister. You could see the concern, love and stress on my boy's face. After a short while of Hailey having fun and Ty pretty much devoting his play time to protecting her, I pulled Hailey out so he could have some unbridled jumping of his own.

Way to go big brother!
